Environmental Policy

Stanco Services are aware that their operations can have an impact on the environment and are therefore committed to minimising their negative impact on the environment. This is achieved by complying fully with the relevant UK regulatory requirements. Stanco work with suppliers to source and supply products with low environmental impact, and identify, control and dispose of products that have special handling and waste treatment needs.

Stanco also comply with the Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE Directive) in the safe disposal of electrical and electronic equipment.

Waste Management

It is our policy to work with our staff to ensure that all waste is disposed of in line with legal and environmental requirements including the WEEE Directive in the safe disposal of electrical and electronic equipment.


To utilise the use of recycled materials whenever possible, ensuring that materials are disposed of in an environmentally safe manner at the end of their useful life.

Our Energy Policy

To manage electricity, and water supplies to ensure minimum consumption through energy efficient initiatives. It is our policy to use equipment that has energy saving features, such as LED lighting and 'power down' modes when not in use.

Environmental Management

To raise and maintain a high level of understanding of, and participation in, environmental best practices by staff and suppliers. We will appraise projects and contracts we are involved in, to ensure they are assessed for environmental risks and comply with our Policy wherever practicable.
